Okay, I promised myself I wasn’t going to cry.

I miss Polaroid Spectra film. I remember when SX-70 film was discontinued and that sucked. But Spectra, which was inferior as a camera system, had really nice color and a really nice aspect ratio and size. It was different and it was good. And while the SLR quality of SX-70 was fantastic (the non-auto-focus models), using a point-and-shoot that made good decisions was also nice once in a while.
I tended to take the Spectra on vacation and out for “special” shoots. Which is probably a good thing because the film wasn’t inexpensive. I do recall buying a ton of the film out of the clearance bin at an office supply store, thinking how lucky I was, then realizing soon after that it was being discontinued.
Right, right, I wasn’t going to cry…
